Hoo-boy. Where to start with this one?
During the mid-'10s, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" was a very popular thing. Both ACE and I enjoyed the show for a while, though I think ACE followed it for longer than I did. He ran an idea by me: make a sinister version of "The Heart Carol" (or "A Circle of Friends") for use in the game. I… don't think that idea survived the test of time. Kind of a bummer, too. I liked ACE's idea, and I was proud of this remix.
It's probably fairly obvious where this would have played, but the idea was for that first part to play, then the next part to loop during a cutscene a'la Mega Man Powered Up, followed by the actual boss fight. Incidentally, the "loop" wound up being the basis for the "WUT Mode" selection song in Carol Remix.
